Toronto lawyer Angela Chaisson participates on a panel hosted by The Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund’s (LEAF) Toronto branch about Ontario’s legal aid cuts, which have cut funding for the most vulnerable people in the justice system.

She spoke about the changes to Legal Aid Ontario, and how they have affected her clients, who are mostly women experiencing violence. She called upon Doug Ford’s government to reverse the legal aid cuts, which she explained would cost more to taxpayers in the long run.
