Toronto lawyer Angela Chaisson presents to the Criminal Lawyers’ Association Third Annual Women in Criminal Law Conference, titled Is Justice is Blind? Breaking Barriers in Criminal Law. Angela spoke about the persistent gender pay gap in the legal profession and how it disproportionately affects equality seeking groups such as radicalized, immigrant, queer and disabled women. As a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association Women’s Committee, Angela is keenly aware of the issues facing female lawyers. She is thrilled to contribute to the conversation of pay equity and gender discrimination in the legal profession.
