Angela Chaisson to Participate in Panel at the University of Toronto about Ontario’s Legal Aid Cuts

Amidst cuts to Ontario’s legal aid funding, the legal profession has rallied around the cause, stressing the importance of access to justice and the need for action. The Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund’s (LEAF) Toronto branch is taking the discussion to the next level by hosting a panel featuring Toronto lawyer Angela Chaisson. Angela will speak about her experience with Legal Aid Ontario, and the effects of the cuts on the legal profession, as well as the most vulnerable Ontarians.
